Francisco Lugo, or “Kiko,” is a Mexican-American native of Orange County, California. Kiko graduated from Chapman University with a B.F.A in graphic design and a minor emphasis in creative writing. His father introduced him to the power of visual communication and storytelling at an early age, tools he uses to highlight narratives that champion positive ideals over adversity, particularly in often overlooked mediums, such as children’s literature.
